Cloaking

Cloaking is a black hat seo technique that presents different content to users and search engine spiders. This is accomplished by presenting content based upon the IP addresses or the User-Agent HTTP header of the user requesting the page. If the user is identified as a search engine, a server-side scripts will deliver a different version of the web page, than is presented on the visible page.
